La relación entre el apoyo organizacional percibido y la calidad de vida relacionada con el trabajo, con la implementación de un modelo de bienestar en la organización

Resumen


Con los cambios en los sistemas de producción, los trabajadores ven sus condiciones laborales y su sentir del bienestar subjetivo afectados, por lo cual en la actualidad existe un gran interés en mejorar las condiciones de calidad de vida en el trabajo. El objetivo de este estudio es realizar un análisis de la relación multivariante entre el apoyo (soporte) organizacional percibido y algunas dimensiones de la calidad de vida relacionada con el trabajo, con el bienestar subjetivo y, al mismo tiempo, constructos relevantes derivados de la psicología organizacional positiva, como el compromiso laboral y el sentido de coherencia. Se consideró una muestra de 1255 trabajadores de diferentes empresas, en dos grupos, uno con 736 (59 %) trabajadores que participaron en un programa de bienestar y otro grupo con 519 (41 %) trabajadores que no participaron en el programa de bienestar de las mismas empresas. El modelo de ecuaciones estructurales que se presenta en este estudio muestra cómo los factores de la calidad de vida relacionada con el trabajo y el apoyo (soporte) organizacional percibido predicen, de manera indirecta, el bienestar subjetivo. Se concluye que este estudio contribuye al desarrollo de la literatura de compromiso laboral y la teoría de soporte organizacional.
